February 4, 2023: Eunice, NM 88231 The Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM) basketball knocked off the host Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM), 46-33 in Saturday's non-league test.
The (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes go into the A District 6 test with a 19-1 record. In their last test, Melrose notched a victory over Logan (Logan, NM), 68-33, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tatum for a 2A District 4 test on Tuesday, February 7. Eunice will encounter a Coyotes squad coming off a 66-25 league win over Loving (Loving, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 15-6.
