The Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH) basketball nipped the host Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH), 38-34 in Saturday's league test.

The Trojans (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Lutheran East (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Lutheran East got by Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH), 61-47, in a non-league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Cornerstone Christian for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 8.
