Colorado High School Basketball - Horizon nips Rocky Mountain
February 4, 2023: Thornton, CO 80602 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) and the visiting Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO), saw Horizon's basketball squad hold off Rocky Mountain by a tally of 57-53.
With the victory, Horizon improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Brighton (Brighton, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Brighton won 72-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Loveland (Loveland, CO)
Next up, the Lobos play the Northglenn Norsemen (Northglenn, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Rocky Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 64-24 league loss to Horizon (Thornton, CO).
