February 4, 2023: Mitchell, SD 57301 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) and the visiting Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD), saw Mitchell's basketball squad overcome Spearfish by a tally of 65-54.
With the victory, Mitchell improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Kernels host Washington (Sioux Falls, SD) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Spearfish will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
