Iowa High School Basketball - Cascade thwarts Anamosa
February 4, 2025: Cascade, IA 52033 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) and the visiting Anamosa Raiders (Anamosa, IA), observed Cascade's basketball team knock off Anamosa by a score of 70-50.
The Cougars (15-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellevue (Bellevue, IA). The Comets come into the River Valley challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Bellevue dropped by Beckman (Dyersville, IA), 61-55, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) in a River Valley challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Anamosa will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 71-63 league loss to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA).
