Massachusetts High School Basketball - Burncoat overwhelms Fitchburg
February 4, 2025: Fitchburg, MA 01420 The Burncoat Patriots basketball team scored 80 points and limited the host Fitchburg Red Raiders to 55 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Paul for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Burncoat will confront a Knights team coming off a 64-40 non-league loss to Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA). The Knights record now stands at 5-10.
With the loss, Fitchburg falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA) to confront the Titans in a Midland-Wachusett A game on Friday, February 7. The Titans go into the game with a record of 10-3.
