Louisiana High School Basketball - Haynesville fells Cedar Creek
February 4, 2025: Ruston, LA 71270 The Haynesville Golden Tornado basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Cedar Creek Cougars to 39 in the Golden Tornado league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Tornado now have a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arcadia for a 1A District 1 game on Friday, February 7. Haynesville will confront a Hornets team coming off a 58-18 league win over Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 17-6.
With the loss, Cedar Creek falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA) to confront the Panthers in a 1A District 1 game on Friday, February 7. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 19-8. Lincoln Prep won 72-20 in their recent league game against Glenbrook (Minden, LA)
