February 4, 2025: Villa Park, IL 60181 The Islamic Foundation Chargers basketball squad (Villa Park, IL), was outscored 69-55 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL)
With the victory, Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family advances its record to 3-12 on the year. The travel to Westmont (Westmont, IL) to meet the Sentinels in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. The Sentinels enter the battle with a record of 9-15. Westmont lost 46-45 in their recent league battle against Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL)
The Chargers now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Islamic Foundation will play a Hawks team coming off a 56-45 non-league win over Kelly (Chicago, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 14-7.
