Delaware High School Basketball - Howard holds off Salesianum

The Howard Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Salesianum Sallies to 52 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 12-3 record. They play next when they host McKean for a Blue Hen Flight - B game on Thursday, February 6. Howard will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 74-68 league loss to Dickinson (Wilmington, DE). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Salesianum falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Sallies host St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE) to confront the Spartans in a Freelance game on Friday, February 7. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 10-3. St. Mark's won 55-48 in their recent non-league game against Brandywine (Wilmington, DE)
