In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Walkertown Wolfpack basketball team scored a big 78-53 win over the McMichael Phoenix.

The Wolfpack (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Morehead (Eden, NC). The Panthers come into the 2A Mid-State contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Morehead smashed T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC), 64-62, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Phoenix battle the Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC) in a 2A Mid-State contest, on Friday, February 7. McMichael will attempt to better on its 5-16 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 21-0 record after their 75-53 non-league win over Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC).
