February 4, 2025: Burlington, IA 52601 The Notre Dame Nikes basketball squad (Burlington, IA), was outscored 61-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA)
With the victory, Regina advances its record to 17-2 on the year. The Regals host Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to meet the Golden Hawks in a River Valley battle on Friday, February 7. The Golden Hawks enter the battle with a record of 16-4.
The Nikes now own a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host WACO for a SEI - South battle on Saturday, February 8. Notre Dame will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 45-40 non-league win over Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.
