California High School Basketball - El Capitan triumphant over Monte Vista
February 4, 2025: Spring Valley, CA 91977 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) and the host Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), observed El Capitan's basketball team overwhelm Monte Vista by a score of 56-31.
The Vaqueros (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Clairemont (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Clairemont was routed by Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA), 69-21, in a league challenge.
