Missouri High School Basketball - Seneca trounced by Diamond
February 4, 2025: Diamond, MO 64840 Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Seneca Indians (Seneca, MO), 50-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Diamond advances its record to 7-10 on the year. The Wildcats host Marionville (Marionville, MO) to meet the Comets in a Southwest match on Thursday, February 6. The Comets enter the match with a record of 16-5. Marionville won 58-38 in their recent league match against Pierce City (Pierce City, MO)
The Indians now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aurora for a Big 8 match on Thursday, February 6. Seneca will meet a Houn Dawgs squad coming off a 88-74 league win over Lamar (Lamar, MO). The Houn Dawgs record now stands at 15-3.
