The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) and the host Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN), observed St. Peter's basketball team overcome Fairmont by a margin of 61-51.

The Saints (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Tigers come into the AAA Section 2 challenge with a 22-1 record. In their last challenge, Marshall defeated Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD), 77-73, in a non-league challenge.
