Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), 51-33 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Gregory upgrades its record to 4-11 on the year. The Gorillas host Parkston (Parkston, SD) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 16-2. Parkston won 49-47 in their recent non-league match against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD)

The Titans now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanson for a A Region 5 match on Thursday, February 6. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will face a Beavers squad coming off a 59-34 league loss to Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Beavers record now stands at 6-10.
