California High School Basketball - Coastal Academy toppled by Pacific Ridge
February 4, 2025: Carlsbad, CA 92009 Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA), 52-43 in a league match.
With the victory, Pacific Ridge upgrades its record to 2-7 on the year. The Firebirds travel to O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 5-7. O'Farrell Charter won 62-42 in their recent league match against Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA)
The Stingrays now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Classical Academy for a match on Friday, February 7. Coastal Academy will face a Caimans squad coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Orange Glen (Escondido, CA). The Caimans record now stands at 10-5.
