With the victory, Tempe upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Matadors in a 4A Skyline bout on Tuesday, February 9. The Matadors come into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Rockets play the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Skyline bout, on Tuesday, February 9. Moon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 57-37 non-league win over Peoria (Peoria, AZ).
