In Saturday's non-league outing, the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH), by a margin of 82-57.

The Aviators (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Perry (Massillon, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 0-18 record. In their last outing, Perry was trounced by Hoover (North Canton, OH), 62-27, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Ravenna for a Metro outing on Friday, February 11. Springfield will clash with a Ravens squad coming off a 49-46 league loss to Norton (Norton, OH). The Ravens record now stands at 5-9.
