Nebraska High School Basketball - Burwell crushes Nebraska Christian

Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE), 60-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Burwell upgrades its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to play the Red Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, February 11. The Red Hornets come into the bout with a record of 4-14. Heartland Lutheran lost 66-33 in their recent non-league bout against Fullerton (Fullerton, NE)

Next up, the Eagles play the Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Nebraska Christian will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 15-7 record after their 61-23 non-league win over Harvard (Harvard, NE).
