The Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Charleston Trojans to 44 in the Railsplitters league victory on Saturday.

The Railsplitters now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taylorville for a Apollo contest on Monday, February 7. Lincoln will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 60-43 non-league loss to Pana (Pana, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 12-12.

The Trojans (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Flaming Hearts come into the Apollo contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Effingham was nudged by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 54-41, in a league contest.
