New Jersey High School Basketball - Dayton edges Manville
February 5, 2022: Springfield, NJ 07081 The Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Manville Mustangs (Manville, NJ), 57-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ). The Panthers go into the Mountain Valley - Valley test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Roselle Park was tipped by Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ), 65-40, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host South Hunterdon for a Skyland - Valley test on Monday, February 7. Manville will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 71-41 non-league win over Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.
