The Stargate School Eagles basketball team (Thornton, CO), was nudged 55-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors (Brighton, CO)

The Warriors now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Lupton for a 4A/3A Colorado battle on Monday, February 7. Eagle Ridge Academy will battle a Bluedevils team coming off a 57-48 league win over Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Bluedevils record now stands at 10-5.

The Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Faith Christian (Arvada, CO). The Eagles come into the 3A Metro battle with a 12-5 record.
