Edon Bombers (Edon, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH), 59-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Edon upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Bombers host Antwerp (Antwerp, OH) to play the Archers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 12. The Archers go into the bout with a record of 16-1.

Next up, the Eagles play the Maumee Valley Country Day Hawks (Toledo, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 8. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 55-34 non-league win over Arcadia (Arcadia, OH).
