The Wapakoneta Redskins basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Kalida Wildcats to 44 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Redskins now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bath for a Western Buckeye contest on Monday, February 7. Wapakoneta will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 51-16 non-league win over New Knoxville (New Knoxville, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-11.

The Wildcats (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Continental (Continental, OH). The Pirates enter the Putnam County contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Continental nudged Montpelier (Montpelier, OH), 38-31, in a non-league contest.
