New Jersey High School Basketball - Willingboro tipped by Mainland Regional
February 5, 2022: Linwood, NJ 08221 The Mainland Regional Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Willingboro Chimeras to 56 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Creek for a Cape/Atlantic - National contest on Monday, February 7. Mainland Regional will meet a Pirates team coming off a 42-36 non-league loss to Shawnee (Medford, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 5-11.
The Chimeras (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Medford Tech (Medford, NJ). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Medford Tech nudged Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ), 54-45, in a non-league contest.
