February 5, 2022: Wilmington, DE 19802 The Sanford Warriors basketball team (Hockessin, DE), was overwhelmed 55-34 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE)
The Sallies now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caravel for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, February 8. Salesianum will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 70-61 non-league win over William Penn (New Castle, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-3.
The Warriors (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE). The Quakers come into the Independent Schools battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Wilmington Friends trounced MOT Charter (Middletown, DE), 65-45, in a non-league battle.
