Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Norcross Blue Devils (Norcross, GA), 71-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lovejoy upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tucker (Tucker, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-18. Tucker lost 31-12 in their recent non-league bout against Lithonia (Lithonia, GA)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Norcross will attempt to upgrade on its 18-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 62-16 league win over Berkmar (Lilburn, GA).
