Connecticut High School Basketball - New Canaan holds off Weston
February 5, 2022: Weston, CT 06883 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) and the host Weston Trojans (Weston, CT), saw New Canaan's basketball squad hold off Weston by a tally of 32-28.
With the victory, New Canaan improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to confront the Presidents in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 7. The Presidents come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Harding lost 51-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot challenge, on Monday, February 7. Weston will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 49-43 league win over Immaculate (Danbury, CT).
