The South Platte Blue Knights topped the host Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team by a final score of 51-43 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Blue Knights face the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (Maywood, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 8. South Platte will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 21-1 record after their 31-29 non-league win over Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE).

With the defeat, Perkins County moves to 8-11 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Creek Valley (Chappell, NE) to face the Storm in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 8.
