The Rincon/University Rangers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Walden Grove Red Wolves to 16 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rangers now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sabino for a non-league contest on Monday, February 7. Rincon/University will battle a Sabercats team coming off a 73-40 non-league win over Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 17-4.

The Red Wolves (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ). The Mustangs enter the 4A Gila contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Sahuarita was routed by Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ), 52-26, in a non-league contest.
