February 5, 2022: Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Simley Spartans basketball team scored a close 40-33 victory over the St. Paul Central Minutemen.
With the victory, Simley improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Tartan (Oakdale, MN) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 4-16. Tartan lost 68-35 in their recent league challenge against Hastings (Hastings, MN)
Next up, the Minutemen confront the Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) in a AAAA Section 4 challenge, on Wednesday, February 9. St. Paul Central will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record.
