Louisiana High School Basketball - Dunham crushes Ascension Catholic
February 5, 2024: Baton Rouge, LA 70810 Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA), 66-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dunham upgrades its record to 22-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 17-7.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) in a 1A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Ascension Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-18 record after their 52-33 non-league loss to Central Private (Baker, LA).
