South Dakota High School Basketball - Marty Indian fells Avon
February 5, 2024: Marty, SD 57361 Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Avon Pirates (Avon, SD), 76-66 in a league bout.
With the win, Marty Indian upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Braves travel to Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD) to play the in a B Region 5 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Andes Central/Dakota Christian won 83-53 in their recent league bout against Colome (Colome, SD)
Next up, the Pirates play the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks (Armour, SD) in a B Region 5 bout, on Thursday, February 8. Avon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 57-46 non-league win over Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD).
