Wisconsin High School Basketball - Darlington knocked off by West Salem
February 5, 2024: West Salem, WI 54669 The West Salem Panthers basketball team scored 98 points and held the visiting Darlington Redbirds to 90 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arcadia for a Coulee contest on Thursday, February 8. West Salem will battle a Raiders team coming off a 68-49 non-league win over Neillsville (Neillsville, WI). The Raiders record now stands at 10-9.
The Redbirds (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI). The Panthers enter the Southwest Wisconsin Activities contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Iowa-Grant ran past Belmont (Belmont, WI), 65-61, in a non-league contest.
