Maryland High School Basketball - Fort Hill crushes Southern Fulton
February 5, 2024: Cumberland, MD 21502 Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southern Fulton Indians (Warfordsburg, PA), 72-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fort Hill upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Sentinels host Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD) to play the Miners in a Appalachian bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Mountain Ridge won 81-51 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD)
Next up, the Indians play the Everett Warriors (Everett, PA) in a Inter County - South bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Southern Fulton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 65-40 league loss to McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA).
