Missouri High School Basketball - Valmeyer overwhelms Hancock
February 5, 2024: St. Louis, MO 63125 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Valmeyer Pirates (Valmeyer, IL) and the host Hancock Tigers (St. Louis, MO), saw Valmeyer's basketball squad wallop Hancock by a tally of 72-40.
With the victory, Valmeyer improves its record to 9-17 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL) to confront the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 9-17. Bunker Hill won 57-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Lebanon (Lebanon, IL)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Brentwood Eagles (Brentwood, MO) in a South Central A A challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Hancock will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 64-17 league win over Crossroads (St. Louis, MO).
