Pennsylvania High School Basketball - McKeesport crushes Penn-Trafford
February 5, 2024: McKeesport, PA 15132 McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA), 64-37 in a league bout.
With the win, McKeesport upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Tigers host Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA) to play the Cavaliers in a WPIAL 5A 3 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Kiski Area lost 37-36 in their recent league bout against Gateway (Monroeville, PA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Penn-Trafford will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 57-49 league loss to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA).
