Kentucky High School Basketball - Western Hills can't hold off Tates Creek
February 5, 2024: Lexington, KY 40517 The Tates Creek Commodores basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Western Hills Wolverines to 58 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Monday.
The Commodores now sport a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lexington Christian for a District 43 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Tates Creek will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-41 non-league win over East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 11-10.
The Wolverines (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Paul Laurence Dunbar nudged Tates Creek (Lexington, KY), 76-66, in a league contest.
