In Monday's league match, the visiting Liberty Minutemen basketball team scored a good 52-36 triumph over the Amherst County Lancers.

In their next game, the Minutemen meet the Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole match, on Tuesday, February 6. Liberty will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 2-14 record after their 38-33 league loss to Rustburg (Rustburg, VA).
