The Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL) basketball nipped the host Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL), 50-46 in Monday's non-league test.

The Grey Ghosts (17-12) will now prepare for their test against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Indians go into the Illini Prairie test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Pontiac got by St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL), 54-32, in a league test.
