Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Charles ripped by Lake City
February 5, 2024: Lake City, MN 55041 The Lake City Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting St. Charles Fighting Saints to 17 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Island for a AA Section 1 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Lake City will meet a Panthers team coming off a 66-49 league loss to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 8-14.
The Fighting Saints (1-21) will now prepare for their contest against Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN). The Falcons enter the A Section 1 contest with a 3-19 record. In their last contest, Wabasha-Kellogg triumphed over LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN), 47-44, in a league contest.
