The Lake City Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting St. Charles Fighting Saints to 17 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Island for a AA Section 1 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Lake City will meet a Panthers team coming off a 66-49 league loss to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 8-14.

The Fighting Saints (1-21) will now prepare for their contest against Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN). The Falcons enter the A Section 1 contest with a 3-19 record. In their last contest, Wabasha-Kellogg triumphed over LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN), 47-44, in a league contest.
