Massachusetts High School Basketball - Sutton nips Millbury
February 5, 2024: Millbury, MA 01527 Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Millbury Woolies (Millbury, MA), 33-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sutton upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Sammies host Notre Dame Academy (Worcester, MA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Notre Dame Academy lost 42-36 in their recent non-league bout against Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA)
Next up, the Woolies play the Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Millbury will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Blue Raiders go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 59-21 league win over Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA).
