Kentucky High School Basketball - Prestonsburg tops Morgan County
February 5, 2024: Prestonsburg, KY 41653 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY) and the visiting Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY), saw Prestonsburg's basketball squad knock off Morgan County by a count of 63-45.
With the victory, Prestonsburg upgrades its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Blackcats travel to Paintsville (Paintsville, KY) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Paintsville lost 64-44 in their recent league challenge against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY)
Next up, the Cougars play the Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Morgan County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record.
