Maryland High School Basketball - Quince Orchard overwhelmed by Seneca Valley
February 5, 2024: Germantown, MD 20874 The Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Quince Orchard Cougars to 35 in the Screamin' Eagles league victory on Monday.
The Screamin' Eagles now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gaithersburg for a Montgomery County - 4A West contest on Wednesday, February 7. Seneca Valley will battle a Trojans team coming off a 48-44 non-league loss to Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Trojans record now stands at 4-11.
The Cougars (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Coyotes come into the Montgomery County - 4A West contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Clarksburg triumphed over Northwest (Germantown, MD), 54-21, in a non-league contest.
