February 5, 2024: Covington, GA 30014 The Eastside Eagles soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Morgan County Bulldogs to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Eagles face the Arabia Mountain Rams (Lithonia, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 9. Eastside will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salem for a 3A Area 4 contest on Thursday, February 8. Morgan County will face a Seminoles team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 0-1.
