The Freeport Yellowjackets basketball squad (Freeport, PA), lost 53-36 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA)

With the victory, Armstrong advances its record to 6-13 on the year. The River Hawks travel to Valley (New Kensington, PA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 3-13.

The Yellowjackets now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knoch for a WPIAL 4A 1 battle on Friday, February 7. Freeport will meet a Knights squad coming off a 54-53 league loss to North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Knights record now stands at 14-6.
