Michigan High School Basketball - Cedarville overwhelms St. Ignace
February 5, 2025: Cedarville, MI 49719 The Cedarville Trojans basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting St. Ignace Saints to 34 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Trojans now have a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Pickford for a Eastern Upper Peninsula game on Friday, February 7. Cedarville will confront a Panthers team coming off a 66-21 non-league win over Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 13-1.
With the loss, St. Ignace falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI) to confront the Chiefs in a Lake Michigan game on Friday, February 7. The Chiefs go into the game with a record of 9-7. Cheboygan lost 72-46 in their recent non-league game against Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI)
