In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Hiland Hawks basketball team scored a close 66-63 triumph over the Linsly Cadets.

The Hawks (17-1) will now prepare for their contest against Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH). The Mustangs go into the Inter-Valley contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Claymont was tipped by Carrollton (Carrollton, OH), 64-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cadets confront the Harvest Prep Warriors (Canal Winchester, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Linsly will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 11-9 record after their 67-61 non-league loss to Dublin Coffman (Dublin, OH).
