Virginia High School Basketball - Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot knocks off Isle of Wight Academy

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights basketball team scored a good 44-34 win over the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers.

The Knights (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Westover Christian Academy defeated Fuqua (Farmville, VA), 56-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Isle of Wight Academy will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 52-35 league win over Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA).
