North Carolina High School Basketball - Franklin overwhelms Swain County
February 5, 2025: Franklin, NC 28734 The Franklin Panthers basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils to 12 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Panthers now have a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Henderson for a game on Friday, February 7. Franklin will confront a Falcons team coming off a 41-31 league win over Pisgah (Canton, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Swain County falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Maroon devils travel to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Black Knights go into the game with a record of 1-5. Robbinsville lost 32-31 in their recent non-league game against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC)
